Thanks for the shout out, brooke. I was going to wait until the end of August to do my shameless self-promotion.

The book won't be available until September. But you can preorder it on amazon, b&n, borders, indiebound, powell's, etc.

I wouldn't call it a Buddhist book, but the Nichiren influence is clear, I think. And there are some Buddhist parables from the Vimilakirti and Lotus Sutras that are retold in an amusing way (well, amusing in my opinion.)

Looking forward to seeing the product of your labors, dd. I know you hate self-promotion stuff. I will post a good and proper announcement bragging and singing the book's praises when the time comes. In the meantime, congrats. Get busy writing the sequel.
